Sermon for December 2, 2007

This past Sunday we woke up to a beautiful snowfall and no heat in the church.  Since I happened to be getting ready to preach a sermon based on Matthew 24:36-44  which instructs us to be ready, it would have been highly embarrassing to say that we hadn't prepared for snow or no heat.  Thankfully, the boiler folks had given us a little basic maintenance lesson. Hitting the reset button turned the heat back on and the rest of the morning went extremely well.
